Meanwhile, Hubby and I are in California for the summer. It's been great to reconnect with our families! We'll return home to Taiwan near the end of July.

So far, we've been struck by the high food prices, the huge sky (with so few tall buildings to block it), and the dry weather. The humidity is one of the (few) things we don't enjoy about life in Taiwan, but we're used to it. SoCal is just sooo dry!

What About My Writing?

I've been hard at work on various projects at once, but the main one is editing my newly rewritten version of my YA fantasy novel, In the Enemy's Service. It's coming along slowly—the rough draft is very rough and needs lots of work! But it's fun going back through it and revisiting the scenes I haven't seen since April. (Already, that feels like a really long time ago!)
